Explore
Step4 engages collaboratively with you and your team to
explore what success looks like for your new centre project.
- We like to start every new centre project with a short exploratory
session with one of our early learning experts, who will partner with you
through the entire new centre process. - From this meeting, we acquire a solid understanding of your vision
for your centre. What inspires you? How do you want your centre to
be perceived? If you have a visual guide of the ‘look and feel’ you are
striving for, or an inspiration style guide, this will allow us to gain a
greater understanding of your vision. - Your pedagogical approach, values and teaching style are explored.
- What are you most concerned about? This can include anything from
budget, time frames, logistical barriers or resourcing. - Any other information you share about your new centre is welcomed.
Room breakups, number of licensed places and floor plan layouts are
all part of the process. - Project success relies on our ability to listen and learn during this stage.

Creativity and visualization bring the project to life, turning
curiosity into considered and practical design
- Our team of early learning experts and furniture specialists will recommend furniture and resource options tailored to your requirements.
- You will receive a quotation presentation for a generously furnished new centre covering all learning areas.
- Our in-house designers provide room layouts and 3D renders to enable you to visualize your centre.
- Resource selection and recommendation is carefully curated to align with the Early Years Learning Framework, as well as your geographical location and local community
- We will adjust the proposal as necessary to ensure your furniture and resource selections meet your needs completely.

Let us take the stress out of managing multiple contractors and suppliers as we deliver, install and oversee the setup of your learning spaces
- After proposal approval, we will introduce you to your dedicated project manager who will take your project through to completion alongside your Step4 consultant.
- What you can expect.
- Ongoing communication regarding delivery dates and site progress.
- Management of delivery and our on-site team for the duration of install.
- Furniture assembly and distribution to each room along with resources.
- Clean up & rubbish removal.
- Ongoing support as required post installation.
