Wonderschool Woden is a brand new purpose-built Early Learning Centre right in the heart of the Woden Town Centre. At Wonderschool, educators are committed to creating a sense of wonder whilst nurturing each child’s unique qualities and potential.

Approaching Step4 as a supplier, Sarah Wilcox had one specification. It was important to her that each Wonderschool centre had a point of difference. Her vision for the new Woden centre was to create a beautiful space that matched the design of the building. Seeking to enhance the environment with its semi-industrial look, Sarah knew Step4’s custom colour range would complement her vision perfectly. Choosing darker natural colours to reflect her design brief, Sarah decided on tables from the Venice range with tops in Blackened Linewood, a warm charcoal woodgrain with lighter linear striations. She paired these with NaturalDesign furniture and storage also in Blackened Linewood with Oak horizontals.

“After seeing the quality of the furniture and resources, it was really clear they (Step4) were the ones that we were going to use for Wonderschool Woden”, says Sarah. “I knew that there were woods and blacks and browns, so that’s why we went with the custom range,” she explains.

“I would definitely recommend Step4 to new centre fitouts and even existing ones that need to enhance their environment. It was very easy, quick and there was lots of open communication. It was really successful.”
