The Italtrike Atlantic small tricycle is ideal for children who are just starting out and learning to peddle. It has two back wheels and an extra large front wheel for even more stability. It is an excellent toy for children who can understand that by alternately pressing on the two pedals they move forward, while pedaling in the opposite direction they can stop the tricycle and go backwards.

Children learn coordination, balance, motor skills, direction and to control their speed. They also learn how to manage their strength and posture, and how to control the bike through the use of their feet to peddle the trike.
