The Story Behind the Design

This artwork represents the deep connection between people and mother earth — walking gently on this beautiful country and finding healing in one another.
The many different journeys we take and the places we have been. No matter what we find our way back to family and friends, like a circle the connection never ends.

About the Artist

My name is Jess, and I am a proud Aboriginal woman that loves sharing and embracing my culture with the world. I’m happily married with two beautiful daughters living on Wonnarua country.
I was born and raised in Awabakal land with my ancestral family connections with the Barkindji, Ngemba, Gamilaraay-Yuwaalaraay areas of NSW.
My art depicts the beauty of nature and its elements. I draw inspiration from the beautiful country on which we live, as well as creating art that is reflective of family, community and belonging.

Cleaning: Spot wash with warm soapy water using a damp cloth or soft brush, and airdry.

Made from Polyester Cut Pile with binding to all edges.
