How this product aligns with the EYLF
Supporting play-based learning and inquiry
The Pet Counters provide children with a tangible resource to explore mathematical concepts through play. As children engage with the colourful animal counters, they can investigate counting, sorting, and basic operations like addition and subtraction, fostering a natural curiosity about numbers and their relationships.
Building language, imagination, and social skills
Using the Pet Counters encourages children to develop their language skills as they describe the animals, their colours, and the actions they are performing during play. This resource also supports social interaction as children can work collaboratively to create stories or games, enhancing their communication and imaginative play.
